It is essential to clean the wood thoroughly twice a year. We recommend doing this just before spring and after summer if your furniture is outside all the year round. Pick one of those humid, cloudy days, as it is better for the moisture level in the wood to dry out slowly after cleaning. 

• Protect the frame with sturdy masking tape. 
• Dampen the surface with water using a garden hose (NOT a high-pressure washer!). 
• Pour Extremis Wood Cleaner undiluted into a bucket and dip a hard nylon brush into it. Wear gloves! 
• Scrub the treated area with a hard nylon brush. Always work in the direction of the wood grain until clean.  
• For stubborn stains, repeat the treatment until an even surface is achieved. 
• Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all the foam (do not use a pressure washer). Immediately rinse all the remaining parts of your furniture, as well as your terrace. 
• Allow to dry completely (24 hours at an ambient temperature of 20°C. Ensure good air circulation). 
• Sand the rougher parts of your garden table using a 120-grit sanding block. If the entire surface feels rough, you can sand it completely.
